Public Land Shooting Areas

Oregon and Washington have millions of acres of public BLM and Forest Service land where target shooting is legal. Trash No Land maintains a community-sourced map of these locations, color-coded by condition.

Trash No Land

Community-maintained shooting site map

Green pins - good to fair shooting areas
Yellow pins - use with extra caution
Red X - no shooting (safety/fire risk)

Locations are user-maintained. Pack out your brass and targets - if you abuse it, we lose it.

Good to Know Before You Go

Membership Clubs

Douglas Ridge, TCGC, Four Corners, and others are private - check their websites for membership info and waiting lists.

Call Ahead

Hours, range fees, and availability change. Always call or check the website before making the drive.

Range Fees

For FST training sessions, range fees are paid at and to the range directly. FST handles range selection.

Dress for the Range

Closed-toe shoes, clothes that cover shoulders, no low-cut tops, and a baseball cap (the brim deflects hot brass away from your face). For outdoor ranges, dress for the weather! Most ranges provide eye and ear protection.

Not Ready to Go Solo?

Book a training session with Firearm Safety Team - we select the range, provide all firearms and ammunition, and guide you in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
